15 Cities With the Worst Herpes Rates in the U.S.

These grotesque pictures should be enough motivation to practice safe sex. The Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) just released their findings of the top 15 cities with the worst herpes rates in the nation.

Furthermore, the CDC also says that the five cities with the most herpes cases also have as high as a 40 percent infection rate for sexually active young people. Not surprisingly, the District of Columbia, which has higher rates of HIV/AIDS infections than many sub-Saharan African nations, ranks very high on the list.

So, the next time you want to go buck wild, you might want to refer back to these photos and see how the disease can deform your body and remember to wrap it up.
